Life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, with a beer in one hand, shouting “Holy Shit! What a ride!!”
The purpose of my site is to vent about things that frustrate me, share my views (as misguided as you may believe them to be), discuss things that are funny and make me laugh, discuss things that have happened in my life, and run my trap about whatever I feel like running my trap about. It is not my purpose to change anyone’s opinion or bring about world peace, but if it happens as a result of my site, then COOL!!!
So you may notice some words that may be harmful to sensitive eyes and ears. If that will be a problem, then I suggest you go read something less offensive. Even when I am ranting and being not-so-happy, I DO attempt to keep a sense of humor about it all.
The thoughts, opinions, rants, and nonsense posted on this site are not intended to represent the views of anyone except ME, who does not express the views of his friends, family, any place of employment, the State of Georgia, nor the United States as a whole…even if I am right most of the time.
I have the comments enabled on my site for those who have humorous follow-ups to my comments, additional insights, info I should check out, or even politely-stated arguments against some of my opinions or statements. But, as the author and owner of this site, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DELETE YOUR COMMENTS AT ANY TIME IF:
* I don’t like them
* Find them completely irrelevant to a site entry or other comments
* They annoy me
* They insult me
* Or you are an idiot
Don’t take it personally. I have no interest in name-calling, wasting my time trying to change your opinion if you disagree with me or my values, and if you are riled by my views, you are always free to ignore them. I have no obligation to allow you to use my site as a forum for your views.
Just remember - MY site! I pay for it! NOT YOU and I do not owe you any further explanation. My site is not a democracy. It is a totalitarian regime where I let others have their say out of the goodness of my heart and I rule with an iron fist. If you want to disagree and rant about me, go get your own site. There may not necessarily be free and unlimited speech here on my site, but I do support your right to free speech through other forums and encourage everyone to get a site if they feel like they have something to say. I’m even willing to share my knowledge of web building if you need any help setting up a site - even if you disagree with me completely!
